Who we are
Find My Auto Repair is a referral and matching service for drivers. We connect customers with independent repair shops and mobile mechanics. We do not perform repairs.
Information we collect
- Customer requests: name, phone number, email, ZIP code, vehicle year/make/model, the service needed, your problem description, and whether you already have parts.
- Shop applications: shop name, contact person, phone, email, ZIP code, address, services offered, vehicle specialties, and service radius.
- Marketing attribution: where practical we record the campaign parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, utm_term) and the referring page of the link you arrived from.
- Basic technical data: limited request information used to prevent spam and abusive form submissions.
How we use it
We use your information to match your request with a participating repair provider, to contact you about that request, to review shop applications, to prevent spam, and to understand which marketing channels bring us customers.
What we share
When we match your request, we share the details you submitted with the participating shop assigned to your job so they can contact you. We do not sell your personal information. Internal administrative notes are never shared with shops or customers. Marketing attribution data is used internally and is not shared with shops.
Data retention
Requests and applications are retained for business record-keeping. You may ask us to delete your information by calling (248) 278-2966.
Your choices
Submitting a request is voluntary. You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time, and you can ask us not to forward your request to a shop before a match is made.
